Suicide prevention month
What is it?
Our commitment to enhancing the army will be an ongoing Health Promotion/risk reduction/Suicide prevention (HP/RR/SP) programs, soldiers, Army (CD) civilians and families, in accordance with the army's Suicide prevention Month, Sept 1-30, 2010, with the national Suicide Prevention Week, Sept 5-11, 2010 at the latest. Suicide prevention month is the Army-wide to bring awareness, understanding, and the army's HP/RR/SP applications our key internal and external audiences.
What is the army made?
More than 160 active duty Soldiers of suicide in 2009, the five-year trend army itsemurhia still.In response to the army set up multi-level, a holistic approach to HP/RR/SP, that recognizes the many challenges facing the US Soldiers, families and military civilians face.
General Peter Chiarelli, vice Chief of staff, U.s. Army, has said that "Soldiers live today life in these first 6 Service; [their] more experience gained during the first-to-peer, the vast majority of the population, and the enumeration as a lifetime."
Military programmes are designed to help the Soldiers of the army civilians, families and their challenges, including substance abuse, financial and relationship problems, post-traumatic stress and the brain damage "the life of the characters".
In the spring of 2009, the army established the army's Suicide prevention Task Force (ASPTF) organization focused on promoting military, civil and family wellness. Army also launched the army campaign plan for Health Promotion, risk reduction and prevention of Suicide (ACPHP) to synchronize the better care and support services focused on a number of programs.
The inception of the lease, because ASPTF is identified to perform the army HP/RR/SP work improvements and more than 240, 20 July 2010, shall be exempt from the army HP/RR/SP-report.
The continuous work for the army planned in the future?

Why is this important for the army?
The reduction of suicide within the army requires an integrated approach to improve the physical, mental and spiritual health of our Soldiers, families and civilians. resiliency, and positive life skills and capabilities of our army's family is not only lower suicide rates, improving quality of life for the whole army of our community.
